What do I get for signing up?
Sign up provides access to the C4C online learning portal, which includes:
- 20+ turnkey Action Packs that guide students on a holistic learning journey through the eco-social issue of their choice.
- 9 lesson plans that support teacher facilitation of reflective dialogue, critical and creative thinking, community climate action, and developing capstone projects.
- Course Connections which align a wide variety of environmental and social justice topics with the BC Curriculum for Grades 5-12 and address these key eco-social themes:
- Connection & Resilience
- Consumption Choices & Impacts
- Earth Systems & Natural Resources
- Health & Food
- Justice & Community
- Additional resources and tools to facilitate thoughtful, age-appropriate conversations on complex issues and support student hope, engagement, and social-emotional learning
